Ess is a savage. He lived in the woods with his brothers since his earliest age. He’s always been the one a little bigger and stronger than the others, the one who saves his brothers from the dangers. Very much like a wolf pack, they lived in the forest for years, without education, without outside help, surviving by attacking caravans to eat what they could scavenge.

When they attacked a caravan trapped by the King’s guards, they were taken and sent to the dungeons. Like animals in a cage, they yelled a kind of deformed language, hammering the bars.

The day of their execution, an elf had pity for them, and brought them to a ship to Terra-Nova, an unknown land of all, and unexplored. The royalty was getting rid of them, so they did not see any inconvenience to that, especially that this new land would surely be full of danger...

Ess and his brothers did survive to this, and played a major role in the story of Terra-Nova... But this is another story!

The helmet is entirely made of thick leather formed, sewn and riveted. It is also lined with velvet for more comfort.

The armour is made from multiple leather plaques riveted and pierced, and then linked together with hundreds of brass rings. The armour is laced on the sides with leather cords.

The spaulders are not of my making. They come from a talented armourer named Steeve Tremblay, at l’Atelier du Heaume (http://www.atelierduheaume.com).

The bracers have been done using yellow chrome tanned leather, and riveted to give the effect of spikes.

The tunic, the leopard bracers, the gloves with claws, the leather leggins, even the axe are all pieces that we’ve designed...
